Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) allows users to sign in to Engage with their Microsoft work account instead of maintaining a separate Engage password.
Before you begin
Contact Engage Support to have Microsoft SSO enabled for your Engage site. Your Microsoft 365 administrator may also need to approve the connection for your organisation.
Quick steps
- Ask Engage Support to enable Microsoft SSO.
- Sign in with your Microsoft work account.
- Complete the Microsoft consent prompt if it appears.
1 Enable Microsoft SSO
Contact Engage Support before attempting to use SSO. We will confirm the site configuration and any information your Microsoft administrator needs.
2 Complete the first Microsoft sign-in
The first time you sign in, Microsoft may ask for permission to share basic profile information with Engage. Follow the prompt to continue.

3 Choose the appropriate consent option
A user may be able to approve access for their own account. Your Microsoft administrator can instead grant consent for the organisation, which helps prevent the prompt from appearing separately for each user.
4 Understand what is shared
The connection uses basic Microsoft profile information to identify the user signing in. It does not provide Engage with access to the user's email, files or calendar.
