QR Codes are available throughout the Engage application providing an easy link to relevant information. These codes can be downloaded in image format that can be printed onto stickers and stuck to assets / lanyards / hazardous substance containers etc.
Asset QR Codes
An Asset QR code can be used by employees to show the asset PDF on their Engage app. This includes information such as maintenance history, asset details, and other information.
We recommend printing a copy of the QR code to add to your asset for any employees that need to access this information on the go, instead of having to get this from the computer.
To download a copy of the QR code, click on Assets / Assets / "View" next to the particular asset.
On the Basic Details tab, you can scroll down to find the QR code:
If you click on Download Image, you are able to print off the QR code to be used for scanning.
Employee QR Codes
An employee QR Code can be found by clicking on Employees / "View" next to the particular employee.
If you scroll to the bottom of their "Employee Bio" tab, you will find a copy of their QR Code:
If you click on Download Image, you can print off a downloaded copy of the employee QR code that can be scanned by the Engage app to download a copy of the employee's training record as needed.

If you do not have access to a computer to download a copy of the QR code, you can also access the QR code on your Engage app. To do this, click on the QR code button at the bottom of the app:
On this page, you also have the ability to download a PDF copy of your own Training Record if you needed to show this at any point in time. The document will display in landscape mode, but you can zoom in on your smart phone or share to another platform as you need.
How to Scan a QR code using the Engage App
To scan a QR code with the Engage App, all employees have access to the QRCode Scanner button which is accessible by scrolling down on the Engage home page.
After you have clicked this button (and allowed Engage access to your phone's camera), you will be able to scan any Employee or Asset QR codes as required.
Once the QR Code has been picked up, you will be able to either download the report or restart the scan as needed.
