2Review the Business Impact Report

The Business Impact Report is available from the Reports menu. It brings Incident and cost information together so organisations can review the operational and financial effects recorded against Incidents.

The report includes:

  • Total recorded Business Impact over time
  • Average recorded cost per Incident
  • The percentage of Incidents with recorded costs
  • Cost recovery rate
  • Branches or locations with higher recorded impact
  • Cost breakdown by Incident Type
  • Cost comparisons across Branches
  • The highest-impact Incidents for further review

The report does not replace the assessment of harm to people. It provides additional information about consequences such as recovery time, lost productivity, repair, replacement and operational disruption.

The quality of the report depends on the Business Impact information recorded against Incidents.
