Feedback is available for all Engage users, and can include a new idea, an improvement suggestion, or a recommendation of a fellow employee. It gives all of your staff who have access to Engage a platform to voice opinions and ideas for your company.
Feedback via the Web
You have the ability to submit feedback on the web by clicking on Health & Safety / Feedback / 'New Feedback'.
You have the option of selecting whether it is a new idea (something that the business could use/do going forward), an improvement (bettering a process/thing that is currently in place within your business), and recommend someone (where you get to acknowledge an employee's hard work - please note you will be prompted to select an employee from the drop-down if 'recommend someone' is selected).
Once feedback is submitted, you have the option to 'View' / 'Edit' as needed. The employee's manager and the H&S contacts will receive an email notification alerting them of your feedback that has been submitted.
In the 'View' option, you have the ability to see Feedback Details, create new Actions, add Documents, and view the Change Log.
Submitting Feedback via the App
To submit feedback on the app, you will need to scroll down on the home page to find the 'Feedback' button, then fill in the form. Note that fields with a red asterisk are mandatory fields.
Your manager or branch H&S contacts then have the ability to respond to your feedback - to see their comments, click on the 3 dots/3 lines icon in the top right hand corner of the new feedback page to view a list of all of your previous feedbacks.
From there, you can 'View' your feedback to view the responses and reply:
Responding to the Feedback
To respond to an employees' feedback, you can pop to Health and Safety / Feedback and then 'View' the relevant feedback. Under the 'Feedback Details' tab, you can click on Reply to respond to the employee's feedback. Please note, only the employee, the employee's manager, the branch H&S contacts, or those with Admin: Companies authority will have the ability to respond to the feedback.
When you reply, you also have the ability to upload documents, that can be accessed via the Documents tab when viewing the feedback, or change the status of the feedback. Reviewed means that it is under progress (EG there is an action that needs to be completed, or further ideas that need to be bounced), and Closed sets the status of the feedback to closed.
Actions
Actions can be created to follow on from the feedback submitted. You can assign an action to an employee and specify a timeframe that you want the action to be completed in. You can also attach documents, such as a quote, as necessary. The employee that has been assigned the action will see it appear on their Engage dashboard as well as under Your Actions via the Engage app.
