Any employee set up within Engage has the ability to report an Incident. This can be done either by the web, or the Engage app.
Reporting a New Incident - Web
To report a new incident via the web, click on Health & Safety / Incidents. Please note, those that are listed as a Branch H&S contact will see a listing screen with all previous incidents from the associated branch. Otherwise, you will be taken straight to a new incident form.
From there you can fill in the incident form, note that boxes with a red asterisk are compulsory fields
After the incident data has been submitted, notification emails will be sent out to the person involved, the assigned Branch Health & Safety representative(s), as well as the employee's manager. If the incident happened at an "Other" location, the Company H&S contact will be notified.
Those that were involved in the incident will also be able to see the recorded incident under their employee bio.
Please note, if you select Aggression / Bullying as the incident type, ONLY the branch H&S representative(s) will be notified. The incident will NOT appear on the employee involved Engage bio, and their manager will not be notified.
Reporting a New Incident - Mobile App
To record an incident with the Engage app, press the 'Record an Incident' button, then press the plus sign in the top right hand corner or the screen.
Fill in the form that follows, please note that fields with a red asterisk are mandatory fields. Once you have saved the incident, you will receive a prompt notification that asks if you would like to upload an image to your incident report.
By clicking Yes, you will be taken to this screen where you have the ability to Add Photos by clicking on the button, and taking a photo with your smart phone camera, or choosing from your camera roll.
Please be aware that if you complete an incident report outside of internet connection, your incident report will automatically be saved under the 'In Progress' listings under the 'Record an Incident' button. You will need to edit and re-save the same incident once you are re-connected to the internet.
Incident Reviews
