To add a new company Procedure, click on Customer Admin / Organisation / Companies / "View" next to the company / Procedures / "Add New Procedures".
Please note only those with Admin: Companies authority will have the ability to access this screen.
Fill in the form; note that fields with a red asterisk are mandatory fields.
You are able to allocate specific procedures to individual roles, branches, or Temp Staff as required.
You can also include Tags (click
here to learn more about Tags), or Sections. Sections break procedures into categories based on what is entered into this field. This allows you to group certain procedure documents together as required. To add a new section, simply cross out 'Default' and then type the name of your Section into the field, pressing Enter to lock it in place. Once you start typing, previously added sections will show in a drop-down as a recommendation.
Once uploaded, you have the ability to View Documents, Update, view the Change Log, or Delete as required.
If 'Acknowledgement Required' is selected, this will work similarly to the Policies function, that captures the date and time of when employees have opened this specific procedure, either on the web or on their Engage app.
Once saved, the Procedures will show under the allocated employees' bio. Employees will be able to see them on the web by clicking "View" on their employee bio / Documents / Procedures. You can expand sections by clicking on the drop-down, and you can also use the search function per section as required.
Alternatively, employees can view Procedures as a bulk list by clicking on the button on the top right hand corner of the Procedures screen. This allows easier ability to search when looking for an individual document.
Employees can also view Procedure documents on their Engage app. To do this, simply click on Your Profile / Documents / Scroll until you find the Procedures section, or simply use the search bar at the top of the screen to find a specific Procedure that you are looking for.
