In Engage, Health and Safety Contacts are set at individual branch level. Any employee that is marked as a branch H&S contact has the ability to see any incidents and hazards logged against the specific branch that they are a contact for.
H&S contacts will be notified of any incidents or hazards that occur at their allocated branch, and they have the ability to complete incident and hazard investigations.
If you would like to set a specific Health and Safety Contact as an incident reviewer for one of your logged incidents, click on 'Complete Incident Report' next to the relevant incident, then select their name from the Assign Reviewer drop-down to assign the incident investigation to them:
Once a Health & Safety contact has been assigned an incident, they will receive an email to let them know:
To set a Health & Safety contact up against a branch, click on Customer Admin / Organisation / Branches / "Edit" and add their name next to the Health and Safety Contact field. There are no limits to the number of contacts you can have.
You can also include External H&S notification contacts if applicable. Any email address entered into this field will be notified if an incident happens at a particular job site. Note that without an email login to Engage, the email address listed here will not be able to access or investigate the incident. This field is recommended where you have a branch that is a job site or similar where an external party may need to be notified of incidents that occur at that site.
