Approving Uniform Product Requests

If the company / branch / supplier set up requires an approval process before a uniform request goes to a supplier, the approvers will be required for approve / decline / locally supply the order. An email notification will be send alerting you to the request, and you can then complete the following : 

Approval via the Desktop


To do this via the Engage web version, you will see the request under Orders Requiring Approval on the right hand side of the Engage dashboard. You can use the plus icon on the left hand side to expand the order, or the eye icon on the right hand side to pull up more information about the product. 



If you click on the eye icon on the line request, this will pull up approval icons for each individual product that is requested. 

From here, you are able to Approve, Decline, or Approve and Supply Locally. 

If you click Approve and Supply Locally, this means that there was stock available of a particular product that you can give to this employee. It removes the allocation amount from the employee's profile, but does not email the order request through to the supplier, and the order does not need to be marked as received. 



Please note if you Decline the order, you will be prompted to provide a reason, which will be included on the decline email for the staff member. 



Approving the order will either pass the order through to the next stage of the approval process, or send the order through to the supplier. Note that if Branch Managers is selected as an approval step, and there are more than 1 branch managers, it acts on a first-come first-serve basis. 

Approval via the Engage App


To approve the order through the Engage app, click on Your Actions / "Orders requiring Approval". 



If you view the order, it shows you more information about the products that have been requested. Similar to above, you have the ability to Approve, Decline, or Approve and supply locally.
