What is "Other" Training?
"Other" Training Courses can be found on the employee bio by clicking on Employees / "View" next to the applicable employee / Training tab.
This area is for training courses that an employee may bring to a role that is useful, however is not required in order to actually fulfil their Role training requirements.
For example, an employee may start their job with a university degree that helps them fit the role initially, however to keep up to date with practices, the employee may require First Aid or Working at Heights training to ensure they can complete their job safely. This type of training is Role-Based training and is entered separately. To learn more about Role-Based Training courses, please click

Adding "Other" Training against an Employee
To add "Other" training information, you can scroll to the bottom of the Training page, and click 'Add Training / Qualifications'.
Fill in the relevant fields, note that fields with a red asterisk are mandatory.
The training listed in this section will not appear on the specific training reports throughout Engage as it is not deemed an essential part of the employee's Role. However information on qualifications/courses can be stored here as necessary.
