reCAPTCHA is basically a Google service that helps to tell software whether the 'person' logging in is actually a person and not a bot or AI trying to get into the system.
CAPTCHA stands for "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart."
Bots and AI find it difficult to get past these reCAPTCHA's, especially with the bad quality pictures, so it is an additional level of security for your Engage account to stop any potential malicious behaviour.
We understand that these can be rather irritating sometimes (especially if you are in a rush!) but they are there for security purposes to ensure your Engage account has maximum security around it.
To help speed up the process, sometimes reCAPTCHA put "Skip" buttons where "Verify" is in the screenshot below. You are able to skip through until you get to the screen that says Verify.
Alternatively, if you click on the headphones icon, you are able to complete a listening test instead of clicking on the image squares.
If they are popping up regularly, it may also help to clear your browsers' cache.
If you have any other queries about logging in or Engage, please contact us at support@engagesolutions.co.nz and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
