A Quicker Way to Type on the App

Please note, this function is dependent on the phone that you are using, not the Engage App itself. If you enable this function, it will also be able to be used in your texting, and other apps on your phone. There are plenty of articles available on the internet that should explain how to switch this function on for your specific smartphone model. 

Once you have enabled the speech-to-text function on your phone, you can click on the text box where you need to type your body of text, then click on the microphone button, and begin talking. 

  

Once you have finished your statement, you can then click on the microphone button to stop it. We would recommend reading through the text to ensure your speech was heard correctly.
