Creating Uniform Products

A uniform product can range from company shirts, to work boots, to phones, to a drill, to ... pretty much anything! For more ideas on what you can add as uniform products, this article helps to provide some other ideas if you are interested in learning more. 

To set up Products for your uniform, click on Customer Admin / Products / Maintenance / "New Product". Fill in the relevant form - this is where you will link a specific uniform item against your preferred supplier, which takes in to consideration the set up approval process. 

If you have connected with an external uniform supplier via Engage and do not see a specific product, please reach out to either your uniform supplier or support@engagesolutions.co.nz for more information. 

The first page asks you for product information, the second page asks for colours and sizing of the product (if applicable), the third page asks you for individual pricing (note that if the product pricing is the same for all colour and size combination, you are able to Copy the first price down through the full list). The last page of setting up the product is a summary page of the information entered. If you are happy with what has been entered you can Save to lock in your product. 

On the final page (or on the Edit page of an existing product) you will find a drop-down that marks whether a product should be returnable. If you select Yes, it will prompt you with the number of days in which you would want this product back (EG Work Boots after 30 days for example), or if you want the product back regardless, such as a piece of technology, you can set this as Always. 

When an employee is terminated, the returnable product will appear on their termination report.
