You are able to use the Engage app offline in situations where you may be in areas with no internet connection, or in instances where the wi-fi is down, or you have no internet data available.
If you are aware that the connection will be dropping prior, we would recommend opening the Forms button to pre-load any form templates that may be required while you are still connected to the internet:
Once the internet has gone, you will still be able to Record an Incident, Record a Hazard, and fill in Forms. Note that when you try and submit these whilst offline, they will be SAVED and you will need to re-submit these at a later stage. You will receive a prompt that lets you know that you are offline.
To re-submit an incident, click on 'Record an Incident', then click on the 3 vertical lines icon that is in the top right-hand side of the page, then click on Report to submit your incident. Any incidents recorded offline will show at the top of the incident listing page.
If you wanted to re-submit a hazard, follow the same process:
To submit your form once back online, click on your saved template at the top of your Forms listing page. Ensure that your answers are correct, then click on Submit at the bottom of the form to re-submit it as normal.
The rest of the Engage modules require an internet connection in order to load.
If you have any other queries regarding the Engage app, or any other areas of Engage, please contact support@engagesolutions.co.nz and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
