How to Book Leave on the Engage App

If you do not yet have the Engage App installed, click here to learn how to download the app onto your smartphone. 

Please note, your company may not be using Engage for leave, so this feature may not be in use. If you would like more information regarding the leave module, please email support@engagesolutions.co.nz and we will get in touch as soon as we can. 

To apply for leave, click on the Book Leave button on your Engage App: 


Fill in the form, you will need to enter your Leave Type, Start Date, End Date and any comments if applicable. If you wanted to apply for a portion of a day, rather than a full day, you can check the 'Allow Part Days' option to allow specific times that you need to apply for. 


Once you click on Save, your leave request will be emailed to your Manager for approval. 

After they have approved / declined the leave, you will receive an email notification, as well as an Engage App notification, to let you know. 

If you wanted to see the history of your previous leave requests, you can do so by clicking on the Manage Leave button on the top right hand corner of the new leave request page. 


You can also check your leave balances by clicking on the Leave Balances button at the top left hand corner of the new leave request page as required.
