Offline Hazardous Substance Information

All hazardous substance information will now be available offline on the mobile app (excluding access to full SDS documents).

Hazardous Substance QR code

You can now download a QR code against each hazardous substance stored in Engage - the QR code once printed is formatted as a label that can be attached to your substance containers. Scanning the QR code via the Engage app links the user to the associated safety data sheet.

Critical Risks and Controls

You are now able to flag both risks and controls as being critical. They can easily be identified via the following icons on the risk register listing page on the web and on the mobile app.

You can also now link Standard Operating Procedures(SOP) to risks as well. Any linked SOP's will be available as a document available on web and mobile.

Linking Critical Risks and Controls to Incidents

As well as linking incidents to risks on your risk register, you can now also link them to control measures. This is done on the incident investigation page.

This data will appear on the risk register and the new critical risk / control report.

Critical Risk / Control Report

Available to company admins and company H&S contacts, the critical risk and control report offers real time visibility into risks and controls linked to incidents.

Incident Insights Report

The Incident Insight Report provides a real-time overview of all incidents recorded in your workplace, helping you track trends, spot risks, and take timely action. This dashboard gives you visibility across key safety metrics, severity breakdowns, and incident types.

Key Metrics

  • Total Recorded Incidents: All reported events, including injuries, near misses, aggression, and property damage; excluding Safety Observations which has it's own section.
  • Resulted in Harm (%): Percentage of total incidents that caused actual harm (vs near miss or no injury).

  • Total Recordable Injuries: Count of LTI + MTI + RWI - industry-standard TRI metric.

  • Near Misses: Events where no harm occurred but there was clear risk.

  • Aggression / Violence: Includes physical or verbal abuse incidents.

  • Incidents Open After 14 Days: Incidents still unresolved more than 2 weeks after being logged.

Please note, this new function will gradually replace the existing "Critical Risk" boxes that we have on the incident investigation page. No historic data will be lost.
