Injury Mechanism Field
Now on the incident investigation page (Incident versions 1 and 2) we have a new Injury Mechanism field. This field will appear if, from the event classification field, you choose one of the following:
- Discomfort
- Lost Time Injury
- Medical Treatment Injury
- Minor Injury
- Restricted Work Injury
The injury mechanism field has two parts - a primary and a secondary mechanisms. These are set as dependant dropdowns.
Please note, you can add up to 5 different Injury Mechanisms per incident report.
Once entered and saved (or saved and closed), these mechanisms will be available on the incident report in report builder and they will also be included as a "Top 5" report on the incident insight report that is available under the Reports section of Engage.
If you are unable to view this report, you may not have the correct authority level and may need to speak to the person in charge of Engage in your organisation.
Potentially Notifiable Incident Alert
This is already available on V2 of our incident module but we have now also added it to V1.
Going into Customer admin / organisation / company / edit, you will see a new field called "Potentially Notifiable should go to". You can select one or more employees to be added to this field. We recommend that this is senior management - people that need to know if an incident could be or is "potentially notifiable".
Once that has been set up, on the investigation page we have a new field: "Alert Company Leadership Staff to Incident". Once this has been checked (and you click ok against the warning), an email and data notification will be sent to the potentially notifiable contacts to alert them about this particular incident.
