Business Impact Costs

Against incident reports, you can now capture direct, indirect and asset related costs. You can also capture insurance references and any reclaimed amounts.

Real-Time Report 

Available under the Report menu option, this report provides visibility into the true business impact of incidents, helping companies understand where harm is occurring and how it affects both people and operations. By bringing together cost and incident data in one place, it highlights patterns and pressure points; supporting better decision-making and more effective safety improvements.

The report shows: 

  • Total business impact over time

  • Average cost per incident

  • Percentage of incidents that resulted in cost

  • Cost recovery rate

  • Branches/locations with higher impact

  • Cost breakdown by incident type

  • Cost comparison across branches

  • List of the highest-impact incidents for review

Please note, this report is not about putting a price on people.

It is about recognising that incidents have wider consequences, from recovery time and lost productivity to repair, replacement, and operational disruption and ensuring those impacts are visible so leaders can prioritise improvements that prevent harm and support safer, more stable work environments.


Authorities - anyone that has access to the full incident information will be able to view and add to the business impact tab. Only those with company health and safety or company admin authority will be able to see the Business Impact report.
