Two Factor Authentication

Two Factor Authentication (2FA) is an optional additional layer of security that you can add to your own Engage profile.

The 2FA can take form either as a mobile notification through the app to confirm that the user is yourself, or through an emailed code to the email address linked to your Engage account. 

To activate 2FA, simply click on your profile picture in the top left hand corner of the screen, and select Two Factor Authentication from the drop-down:


Click on Setup Two Factor and select whether you would prefer an email prompt or a mobile notification prompt.





You will then be asked to confirm your selection with either the email code or mobile notification. Once confirmed, every time you log in to the web with your Engage login, you will be prompted to follow the same procedure. 



Please note, 2FA is not reflected in the App. This is set up for Web only where the Administration controls are accessible. 

If you sign out from the app and then try to log in using a mobile notification, this will default to an email which is attached to the email set up with your Engage account.
