How to add Training Information against an Individual Employee

To view an employee's training course information, pop to Employees on the side bar and 'View' the employee's profile. If the employee's Role and Branch has been included on the training allocation, you will be able to see this on the listing screen under 'Role Based Training Courses'. Employees can also view their own training records, but please note only those with Admin authorities over the specific employee has the ability to make amendments to this page, including adding/editing training data. 

If you do not see the training course required, you may want to include an Additional Training Role. To learn more, please click here. Or alternatively, their training information may not be relevant to the Role they have within the company, but you may still want to record this information in Engage. In this instance, we recommend storing this information as 'Other' training. To learn more about Other Training information, please click here



Once an employee has completed their required training, you can click on the 'Add New Training' button to the right hand side of the training line, and then fill in the pop up form that appears. Note that the Completed Date and the Training Provider fields are mandatory, but the Certificate Number, Competency Level, Comments, and Documents fields are non mandatory. Once saved, the Completed Date will automatically pick up the renewal period that has been set against that training record once saved. If you have not entered your Training Provider information, you can manually type this in instead. 



If you want to see historical data about a training course, you can click on the plus (+) button on the left hand side to expand the data about that particular course. 

All training information can be pulled together in a variety of different reports as required. The training information that you see on these reports will depend on your authorities given. To learn more about Training Reports, please click here

If you have a situation where multiple employees have completed the same training course, you may want to record this information in bulk to save time with data entry. To learn more about bulk marking training as complete, please click here
