Once an incident has been investigated, you are then able to close the incident, which will set the incident status to Closed. Please note, only those marked as Branch or Company H&S contacts will be able to investigate and close incidents. To learn more about H&S positions, please click

Once an incident has the status set to Closed, you will be unable to make further changes...

However, if you did need to make changes to the report, you have the ability to Re-Open the incident. To do this, click 'View' next to the closed incident, and then select 'Re-Open Incident' on the bottom left hand side of the Incident Report tab. Clicking this button will show the following prompt:
If you select Yes, it will change the incident status back to Submitted, and this change will be captured in the Change Log.
From there, you can make your amendments as required. Note that if you were to edit the base incident information (such as changing the location or person involved), this will re-trigger email notifications.
Once you have made your changes, you can then re-close your incident as needed via the investigation page.
