When you set up a role-based training course, you are required to input a renewal period regarding how long the course will be until it will need to be re-sit. The renewal period can vary from days, to months, to years, to a lifetime course (meaning that it only needs to be completed once).
To learn more about setting up a training course, please click
here.
Once the renewal period has been set, when you go to enter a completion date against an employees training on their bio, this renewal period will automatically be picked up based on the renewal timing that was set against the course (click
here to learn more about adding training data against an employee).
When it comes close to training expiration, Engage will send automated reminders to the employee and their manager 4 weeks prior to the expiry, and this will also appear on the Engage Dashboard, the Calendar, and various reports found throughout Engage.
If you needed to adjust the renewal period, you can do so by clicking on Customer Admin / Training / Courses / "Edit" next to the particular course to adjust these. Please note any changes made to the training course renewal date will adjust the expiry date of all existing employee training records.
If you have any other queries about training renewal dates, or any other queries about Engage, please contact support@engagesolutions.co.nz and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
