Before you connect with your contractor, it is recommended to ensure that your Prequalification Templates have been completed. To learn more about setting up Prequalification Templates, please click
here.
To connect to a new contractor, click on Contractors / Contractors / 'New Contractor', note that only those with the Contractor: Manage authority will have the ability to access this page.
Fill in the form, note that you can search for the specific company via the Contractor Company Name to auto-populate the company details. If you have already connected to this customer previously, this will be flagged to ensure there are no duplicate entries in your Contractor listing page.
If you have entered the company name and it is not currently registered, you can manually add their details by clicking on Enter Manually, which overrides the auto population function as required.
Once you have invited the contractor, the key contact will receive an email invitation to connect on Engage. They will need to follow the prompts to be able to log in to the Contractors portal of Engage, and accept or decline the request.
If the contractor has previously connected to another Engage customer, they will be able to use their existing log in credentials to connect.

If the contractor decline the invitation, their status will change to Declined and you will not be able to store details against this contractor. You can re-connect with them at a later stage as required by following the same process as above.
